Morning Sickness
Pregnancy comes with side effects, one being morning sickness. Some women may not be effected by it and if you're one of those women count yourself a lucky lady. Morning sickness includes vomiting being nauseous, or both this usually happens in the first trimester of pregnancy, weeks 1 to 13. Morning sickness usually subsides in the second trimester, me for example, had morning sickness from very early in my pregnancy and started to subside round 18 weeks. Some women may have symptoms of morning sickness throughout their whole pregnancy or may go and come come back at the end of the third trimester.
One thing that really did help was watermelon!! I never got told that watermelon helped so much with morning sickness it was just one of my cravings. When i found out that it was helping with my morning sickness i tried to eat it as much as possible, the downside was i went to the toilet to urinate allot, but rather that than not being able to keep food in your tummy to feed baby and you right?
I done some research and found out watermelon has other of benefits while pregnant it can help heartburn and reduce swelling that you may get while pregnant, can help prevent dehydration and muscles cramping in the third trimester. For those who love watermelon like i do it's a lovely treat and helps to be more energetic and not unwell all the time we'll rather have more good memories while pregnant than bad.
Are you pregnant and are having morning sickness? Get some watermelons!! I hope it also helps you as much as it helped me.
